Wet electrostatic precipitator
Wet electrostatic precipitator is a new type of dust removal equipment, mainly used to remove dust, acid mist, water droplets, aerosols, odor, PM2.5 and other harmful substances in humid gas containing trace dust and microparticles. The following is a detailed introduction and advantages and characteristics of it:
Structural composition:
• Inlet and outlet flues:
used for the introduction of dust-containing gas and the discharge of purified gas.
• Dust collector shell:
It is the outer shell of the equipment, which plays the role of supporting and protecting internal components and ensuring the sealing of the equipment.
• Guide plate and rectifier grid:
guide and rectify the airflow entering the dust collector to make the airflow distribution more uniform and improve the dust removal efficiency.
• Anode dust collecting plate and cathode wire:
The anode dust collecting plate is used to collect charged dust particles, and the cathode wire is responsible for generating a high-voltage electric field to charge the dust.
• Insulation box:
ensure the insulation between the cathode wire and the anode dust collecting plate to prevent current leakage.
• Flushing water system:
used to regularly flush the anode dust collecting plate to flush out the collected dust and maintain the normal operation of the equipment.
• Power supply and control system:
Provide high voltage power supply for cathode line, and control and monitor the operation of the whole dust collector.
• Working principle:
Similar to dry electrostatic precipitator, wet electrostatic precipitator also goes through three stages: charging, collection and cleaning. Dust-containing gas is ionized under the action of high voltage electric field, and dust particles are charged and move to the anode dust collecting plate under the action of electric field force and are adsorbed on it. Unlike dry electrostatic precipitator, which vibrates the ash on the plate to the ash hopper by vibration, wet electrostatic precipitator discharges the dust collected on the plate with water by flushing the plate.
Advantages and characteristics:
• High dust removal efficiency:
It can effectively collect fine particles, such as PM2.5, SO₃ acid mist, aerosol, etc., and has a significant removal effect on submicron particles. The dust emission concentration at the outlet can be reduced to 10mg/m³ or even lower, and the dust removal efficiency can be as high as 99% or more.
• Wide range of applications:
It can work below the flue gas dew point temperature, suitable for processing high temperature and high humidity flue gas, and has high efficiency in purifying high specific resistance, high humidity, high temperature, flammable and explosive dust-containing gas.
• No secondary dust:
The dust collecting surface is cleaned by flushing with liquid, which can avoid the re-raising of the captured dust and ensure good dust removal effect.
• Small pressure loss:
The structural design and working principle of the equipment make its pressure loss relatively small, which can reduce the energy consumption of the system.
• Can remove a variety of pollutants:
It can not only remove dust, but also remove water vapor, acid mist, heavy metals (such as mercury, arsenic, selenium, lead, chromium, etc.) and organic pollutants (such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, dioxins, etc.), and has good waste gas treatment capabilities.
• High operational reliability:
There are no vulnerable parts such as vibration devices, the failure rate during operation is low, the maintenance workload is small, and the service life of the equipment is long.
• Compact structure:
The equipment is relatively small in size and occupies a small area, which is easy to install and arrange in factories and other places.
• Various design forms:
different structural forms such as horizontal, vertical, plate, and tubular can be selected according to different working requirements and site conditions.
